Struggles Corp.

Struggles was founded in 2007 in Brooklyn NY, by a group of young ladies who politic about the drastic and devastating changes in themselves and their communities. They also saw the issues of women and children that plays a part in our society. So STRUGGLES,corp. wanted to do something about it and expose it to the people with out knowledge of it. Raised in Brooklyn these young ladies came up with the name STRUGGLES,corp. for awareness. “ A Struggle is not just being broke, but it’s about going through something, anything. Everyone has their own story and their own Struggle,” said by a member of this organization. We as women gained great independency from moving to new places and being exposed to new things. This showed us that there are more things to this world then just what’s outside our window and we want to share and provide that to others. Giving women and children a new outlook on life. STRUGGLES,corp.

The purpose of STRUGGLES,corp. is to: enhance individuals, spiritual awareness, confidence level, social status, physical wellness and their state of mind. We want to bring youth and young adults to a place where they can see outside of their environment. We want to deal with personal issues that can affect our youths, health, academics, relationships, and sexuality. We also want to help deal with the role we have to play within society. Our goal is to create a sense of empowerment for Women and children. Struggles want to give a sense of community and togetherness. We want to deal with issues. We want to become positive role models for young women. We expose wisdom and expose young people to other people. We take them places and expose them to historical things. We’re here to help the youth to believe in themselves through the different programs we offer and workshops they can attend. Which will help them become aware of life tools that are essential to their success.
