Film viewing of “Very young girls”

What a night !!! Thanks to all who came out and supported this event and the cause. We at Struggles corp. had a movie viewing of ” Very young Girls” on behalf of GEMS( Girls Education and Mentoring Services). This film is expose of human trafficking that follows thirteen and fourteen year old American girls as they are seduced, abused, and sold on New York’s streets by pimps, and treated as adult criminals by police. The film follows the barely-adolescent girls in real time, using vérité and intimate interviews with them as they are first lured on to the streets and the dire events which follow. The film also uses startling footage shot by the brazen pimps themselves giving a rare glimpse into how the cycle of street life begins for many women.
STRUGGLES corp. would like to thank our members Nehanda Richards for the idea and event, also thanks to K-lyric for blessing us with her spoken words. Thanks to all the Jr board members for coming out and bringing their friends. We also Thank Lox lounge for having us.
Thanks again to all, please donate and reach out. leave a comment for Struggles corp. and the cause.

Check this out !!!!! Very Motivating……
Possible First All Female African-American Flight Crew
Very Motivating..
Our African-American women continue to demonstrate professionalism,
intelligence and unlimited potential as they contribute to our overall
struggle for unlimited freedom, access and opportunity in America. The
sisters on Flights 5202 and 5106 (a jet owned by Atlantic Southeast
Airlines) have proven that African-American women can do anything if
just given a fair opportunity.
Their aviation success is a very proud moment for us all.
I’m not 100% sure, but I’m almost positive that we might have made
history on Thursday, February 12, 2009. I was a part of an all African
American female crew. I’m attaching the photos and you can pass them
along to whomever. We were so excited!
We operated flight 5202 from Atlanta to Nashville and flight 5106 from
Nashville back to Atlanta .
The crew included CPT Rachelle Jones, FO Stephanie Grant, FA’s Robin
Rogers and Diana Galloway!
Thanks Amber Greene for this insight !!!!!!!!!

A Poem From Nikki G….. “Balances”…
Balances
in life
one is always
balancing
like we juggle our mothers
against our fathers
or one teacher
against another
(only to balance our grade average)
3 grains of salt
to one ounce truth
our sweet black essence
or the funky honkies down the street
and lately I’ve begun wondering
if you re trying to tell me something
we used to talk all night
and do things alone together
and i’ve begun
(as a reaction to a feeling)
to balance
the pleasure of loneliness
against the pain
of loving you ………………….
Here is another Historian we Honor !!!!!!!!!!
Thank you Ms. Givoanni for your teaching and great works…..
